NPH USA will hold its 10th annual Irish Hearts for Orphans benefit dance on Sunday, April 7 from 2:30 to 7 p.m. (set dancing from 2:30 to 3:45) at the Boston Marriott Quincy on 1000 Marriott Drive in Quincy. The suggested donation is $20. Only 100 tickets are available.

Nuestros Pequeños Hermanos (NPH, Spanish for “Our Little Brothers and Sisters”) is currently raising more than 3,100 orphaned, abandoned, and disadvantaged boys and girls in Bolivia, the Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Guatemala, Haiti, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua and Peru. An additional 3,100 children who live outside the homes receive scholarships, meals, and health care.

There will be a silent auction, refreshments and light sandwiches, a cash bar, a grand prize raffle for two round trip tickets to Ireland donated by Crystal Travel & Tours, and a 10th anniversary raffle featuring a $5,000 prize.

Live music and entertainment includes Comhaltas Ceoltoiri Eireann, Erin’s Melody, and Noel Henry’s Irish Showband as well as free step dancing lessons and a performance by the O’Shea-Chaplin Academy of Irish Dance. WROL’s Bobby Brooks will serve as emcee.
