Milton Academy white pine border

About 15 white pine trees from among the distinctive grove that creates a border along the Milton Academy playing fields along Brook Road had to be removed recently but much of it will remain, at least for now.

Esten Perez, director of communication and media relations for the academy, said the school has been monitoring the health of grove, which he said, has “unfortunately declined” due to the appearance of white pine borers.
