A public meeting on the most recent draft of the town’s Housing Production Plan will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 3, at 7 p.m. at the Council on Aging, 10 Walnut St.

Karen Sunnaborg, the outside consultant who drafted the plan, and town Director of Planning and Community Development William Clark will discuss the HPP, which in part relates to affordable housing. Time will be set aside for questions and answers from members of the public as well as the Board of Selectmen and the Planning Board.

Members of the Housing Authority and the recently-appointed trustees of the new affordable housing trust, among others, have been invited to attend and participate.

Copies of the HPP are available at the Milton Public Library and in the Selectmen’s office. A copy will also be posted on the town’s website, www.townofmilton.org.

Those who cannot attend the meeting but would like to submit written comments should email them to Clark at wclark@townofmilton.org.
