Patrice Galvin

Patrice J. Galvin, 72, of Canton, formerly of Milton, passed away peacefully in the company of her loving family on Saturday, June 15, 2019.

Born in Boston, she grew up in Milton and lived there for many years prior to her move to Canton.

A graduate of Archbishop Williams High School in Braintree, Patrice received her bachelor’s degree and her master’s degree from Bridgewater State College. She retired from her career as an educator for the Randolph schools. where she had worked at the Kennedy Junior High School, the Donovan School, and the Devine School. Patrice served in the roles of teacher as well as principal during her career.

She was the devoted daughter of the late Jeremiah and Kathleen Galvin and the loving sister of Joseph F. Galvin and his wife Joanne of Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, Gerald J. Galvin and his wife Mary of Harwich, and Robert M. Galvin and his wife Karen of Hanover.

Patrice was actively involved in the lives of her seven cherished nieces and nephews, who will miss her dearly.

A funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Elizabeth Church in Milton. Burial followed in Milton Cemetery.
