It’s the spring event of the year — the annual Town Meeting Warrant is ready for public review.
Thirty-nine warrant articles comprise what will be discussed, debated and decided during annual Town Meeting beginning Monday, May 6 at 7:30 p.m. in Milton High School’s auditorium. Other issues could arise as well. Town Meeting Members, including those who will have won their respective precinct seat in the April 30 town election, will make the final decision on the fate of an article.
The multi-paged warrant includes the report of the Warrant Committee and recommendations on articles, which provide a synopsis of a proposal.
Residents registered to vote in the April 30 town election and who are not Town Meeting Members can, and should, make their views on a particular article known to a TMM representative of their precinct.
The warrant can be accessed online, at www.townofmilton.org/home/news/may-6-2019-annual-town-meeting-warrant.
Feel free to voice your thoughts on the upcoming election and town meeting in a letter to me: email@example.com.
