The Milton Times is a weekly newspaper that covers the town of Milton, Massachusetts.
We’ve won national and regional awards for journalism and design.
In 2020 Elaine Cushman Carroll took a first place award in the New England Newspaper and Press Association's contest for a series she did on housing in Milton. She won another award for a story she did on the 15th anniversary of gay marriage in Massachusetts. That story looked through the lens of the lives of some Milton residents. Also in 2020 our advertising team of Aldo and Nadine Leary won an award for Best Native Advertising for the Milton Alphabet pages that are an annual tradition.
In 2019 Aldo won second place in the New England Newspaper and Press Association's category for overall presentation and design with the 2018 Milton Community Guide. The paper also took a second place award from the same organization for our work on "Right to Know."
But our most cherished awards have come from the local community – Kiwanis, Rotary, ¡CelebrateMilton! and the Milton Residences for the Elderly.
We are the only newspaper in the community. But we are more than the print product.
We offer our clients a chance to market to the community in print, online and through video. We have a community app called the Milton Insider available free in both Google Play and the Apple App Store.
Nestled at the edge of Boston, Milton was listed by Money Magazine in 2011 as the 2nd best small community in the USA. The town is home to 27,003 people. Milton is the birthplace of former President George H.W. Bush and Buckminster Fuller.
Our office is at 372 Granite Avenue in East Milton, MA 02186. Our phone is 617-696-7758. Due to COVID-19 our hours have changed. Please leave a message and someone will get back to you. We work primarily from our homes to stay safe. But the newspaper publishes every Thursday.
The Milton Times is devoted to Milton and its people.
